Busking is as hard an entertainment medium as there gets, combining the need to gather an audience otherwise engaged, get and hold their attention for 15 minutes or so and then endeavouring to extract a dollar from them. Part and parcel of that is interacting with that crowd without alienating them or being distracted from the main game or dropping the bundle.
These photos endeavour to portray those tough performance criteria, from the last minute preparations to the colour and often spontaneous movement of the show in motion, from the lit up faces of the audience to the grand finale.
